We have an extensive register of Nannies and other suitable baby-sitters always available for evening baby-sitting, all of whom have been personally interviewed and references checked by us. It is our intention to provide the same sitter for you whenever possible, but we also make sure that you have other regular standbys for nights when your usual sitter is not free. We aim to find you a baby-sitter given a minimum of twenty-four hours notice (except during the busy Christmas and New Year period), but obviously with more notice you will be more likely to get your preferred sitter. 

Please note that this is an EVENING Baby-sitting Register only (i.e. after 7.00pm), should you require help at weekends or occasional days we can supply a Temporary Nanny. Please ring for details of this service. Evening Baby-sitters are usually available from 7.00pm (the majority of Nannies work to 6.30pm). We would ask that you leave out tea/coffee/biscuits and, if your sitter is coming directly from work, it would be kind to leave her a snack.

ALWAYS remember to leave the number of your GP, a number where you can be contacted and another contact number. Please also do let us know if you think you will be back later than midnight. 

Where possible the baby-sitter will have her own car; if not we try to arrange a local sitter and ask that for her safety (and your peace of mind) she be driven home or sent home in a cab at your cost. 

Please note that there is a three hour minimum booking fee. Please let us know if there are children from another family staying with you, there is an additional charge of an extra £2.00 per hour due to the sitter if you have extra children staying from another family.

Should you decide to cancel your baby-sitting arrangements on the day of the booking (i.e. within 24 hours), you will be required to pay the baby-sitter involved the three hour minimum fee.

The annual registration fee for the baby-sitting register is £165 plus VAT.

To book a sitter you may either telephone and leave your details (name, telephone number, date and time you require a sitter), on our babysitting answering machine on 020 8947 0405 or speak to someone personally in the office (020 8947 4666). We will then arrange your sitter as soon as possible and telephone you with the details.

At the end of your annual registration period we will get in touch with you to enquire if you wish to re-join for the following year, if you decide against it we will inform your regular sitters that you no longer wish to remain on the register.
